Emmanuel (Mano) Orel

Mano Orel was born in Athens Greece and came to this country in 1967. He is a full time professional photographer.

He has done work for numerous corporations, and ballet schools for many years. His photographs have been published in many magazines such as The Smithsonian, Modern Photography, The New York Times, Westchester Illustrated, Affordable Travel, Clearwater Navigator, Popular Photography.

Included in his credits are one person, or group exhibits at the lobby of the Empire State building, New York Coliseum, the Kodak Pavilion at Grand Central Station, the International Center in New York, the Lyndhurst Historic Preservation in Tarrytown, the Silo Gallery in Croton, the Clearwater exhibition in Yonkers, the New Rochelle Library, Temple Israel in Croton, the Unitarian Church in Croton, the Flat Iron Gallery in Peekskill, the Ossining Library, the Native Plant Center at Westchester Community College, the Cancer Center of the Northern westchester Hospital, the Hudson Valley Hospital, and the Harrison Library.

Mano has won numerous awards for his photography, including the "Best Photograph of the Year Award" from the Westchester Professional Photographer's Association, where he also served two terms as the president.

Mano's office is in Croton, and his professional photography today includes stock photography, custom printing of exhibition quality photographs, and sale of photographic art.
